I really enjoy this jacket for my little one. I find that it does run very large, larger than needed to go over a couple other layers in the winter. The tight elastic edge of the hood keeps her face free, but the good stays on the head even in strong wind. Elastic around the wrists also means the heads stay free. Very light weight. My only warning would be to not rip the snaps open. They are quite right and you will rip the jacket instead of popping the snaps open.LOVE these rain coats! They have a reflective strip on the front over the snaps. The sleeve holes where their hands go through are a little small and I almost ripped the material trying to unsnap them so I took one star off for that. I LOVE the color and the length! They fit perfectly with some room to grow! Just be careful when unsnapping the coat and you're fine!As the other reviews say, these run large. If your little one is still crawling then size down because they run long. But if your child is walking/waddling around now, you can follow the size guide and have confidence that this jacket will last much longer because it is slightly longer in the body and sleeves. The best part about that is the hood and sleeves have elastic in them, making it easy to put on a smaller body and wear comfortably.Some of the reviews note issues with the snaps, but I have not had any problems. Maybe they have updated the manufacturing process or materials and things are better now.This was a little bigger and lighter-weight than I expected, but it ended up being perfect. My son was able to put it on over his fall jacket (which wasn’t water proof/resistant) and it will still fit in spring/summer. I liked how it was a bit long to cover most of his leg. Between this jacket and rain boots, he was totally protected from the rain.One of the snaps came off the first use, but it still worked ok and was cute, light, and packable. The wrists are elastic so it's a little more difficult to put on, but it seems to hold in warmth better and will hold gloves on.Love that it is just as expected.It is water resistant but the arm holes are so small I had to cut them so I could get her hands through. I bought size 12mo for my 7mo old.The snaps are not reinforced. I had two snaps rip through the fabric.
